My name is Jamie Willcocks, and Stay Lucky is me bringing together my background in TV, creative strategy and generative AI into one agency.Stay Lucky is more focused on my creative work, but you can find out more about my AI consultancy at aiteachers.co
I spent most of my career in TV (2007-2020), in the creative teams of companies such as NBCUniversal, Verizon and Endemol - developing (and sometimes producing) mostly non-scripted formats.
Since then I've developed concepts for early-stage projects for some of the biggest companies in the world. Advertising concepts for
Gillette, Nescafe and Bayer. Metaverse projects for Unilever. New food and products for Amway and Hellmann's. Among many others.
After stumbling upon an early version of DALL-E (what would later become ChatGPT's image model) in mid-2022, I immediately started researching and experimenting with generative AI and was part of the first wave of people to incorporate it into their creative work.

I've consumed thousands of hours of material about AI and creative strategy - I even moved to a small Egyptian desert town for two years just so I could submerge myself in the subject without the distractions (and prices) of London. Now back in London, I specialise in AI-related creative projects and AI consultancy.

- The ideation and development of early stage concepts: predominantly TV and online formats, marketing campaigns and new product lines (these don't necessarily have to involve AI).
- Copywriting - pitch decks, product names, slogans, promotional copy.
- The production of high-quality AI images and video content to visualise new or existing ideas.
- Or a mix of the above!
These can be either sent as assets for you to insert into pitches or sizzle reels, or we take care of the whole thing (writing, video content, editing, etc).
It depends on what you're doing! For development projects it's absolutely fine - as it's not for public consumption. For broadcast TV, it depends on the country, but you'll likely need permission from the show's commissioner. For marketing and other industries, it depends on your legal department - they might have a preference for models that were trained on licensed content. We'll help you go through the options.
It's constantly changing - there are new updates every week, sometimes every day. A significant part of our time is spent keeping on top of this, which is what gives us an edge over people who aren't AI specialists.
This depends on three things:
- The amount of content
- The complexity of the content
- Whether you want ideation and development as part of the project
